Migration out of Webflow

You outgrew the platform you started on.

I rebuild your site as code your team owns, keep the design you paid for, keep the URLs that earn traffic, and hand your engineers a repository.

I rebuild into AstroNext.jsGitVercelHeadless CMS

Why teams leave.

The seat bill outgrew the site.

You are paying per editor and per site for a platform you now use as a static host and little else.

The thing you need next is not on the roadmap.

A real search, a gated area, a pricing calculator that talks to your API. Every workaround is another embed, and every embed is more weight on the page.

Your engineers cannot review a change.

There is no diff, no branch, no pull request. Things go live because somebody clicked publish.

How I run it.

  1. Same pixels, different engine

The rebuild matches the site you have — nothing gets redesigned unless you ask for it. What changes is everything underneath.

  2. URL parity, checked line by line

Every live URL comes across at the same path, and I diff the two sitemaps before the switch. Anything that genuinely has to move gets a 301.

  3. A repository your team recognises

Astro or Next depending on what your engineers already run, plain components, and no framework tax you did not ask for. It builds on Vercel or wherever you host today.

  4. Content stays editable

Marketing does not lose the ability to publish. Copy lands in a CMS or in structured files, and we agree on that editing path before the first component is written.

What you own afterwards.

A Git repository with the full history, a build that runs on your own hosting, the redirect map, and the speed reports before and after. No part of the site needs me around to keep it running.

Questions about leaving Webflow.

No, unless you want it to. The default is a faithful rebuild: same design, same content, same URLs, new foundation underneath.

Astro for a marketing site that is mostly content, Next.js when there is real application behaviour. If your engineers already run one of them, that settles it.

Yes, and it is a requirement rather than an extra. We agree on the editing path — a headless CMS or structured content files — before I write the first component.

It comes with you. Collections export cleanly, and I map every field onto whatever replaces it.

Send me your Webflow URL.

I reply within a day with what the rebuild involves and where the platform is actually costing you.
